Seeing Green

Friends of ours invited us over for dinner last night. Mrs. S pulls together anything green she can find for St. Patrick's Day and everyone is required to try at least one bite of everything. (Mr. S cheated when it came to the green beans) It was so fun. I tried several things for the first time: steamed artichokes and guava.  We enjoyed this so much, Mr. B and I decided to do this again later in the year with another color. Did you celebrate with anything green?

That looks like fun! Our family tradition on St. Patrick's Day is to eat corned beef and cabbage (so I did eat something green) and watch The Quiet Man.

I love this idea! It would be such a fun and festive way to get your kids to try new foods every time a holiday rolls around.
