How to make it:1. Pour cream into the bowl of a mixer (or blender or food processor). Wrap the bowl with plastic to catch spraying cream.
2. Beat the cream for about 10 minutes, until butter solids separate from the cream. Drain the buttermilk (for cooking, baking or drinking) from the solids.
3. Rinse the butter and knead it with a wooden spoon until the water runs clear. Season the butter with salt, if desired.
