Underpacking a no-no

One might intuitively think that if you pack a box to the brim the items inside could get damaged in transit. The opposit is actually true. Many times movers or loaders will not pay attention to how full a box is, because its hard to tell when the box has not been loaded yet. But if a box is not full to the top if will be crushed by other boxes set on top of it. If the box is packed to the brim it has a much better chance of retaining it's shape because it can bear the load placed on it. This will save your contents from getting crushed.
