Zones

To know what grows best in your region it's best to check the zone you live in. When you find a plant you are interested in growing, check to make sure it grows in your zone. Ohio is zone 5/6. On the package of a seed it will list the zone for best growth. The zone also determines when you should start planting. Go here to see the safest time to plant based on climate, and last frost date.

This was very helpful. I knew there were zones, but I can never rememeber which one we are, and which plants/flowers, etc are best. I am excited for this month. I love planting flowers!
