Pipes

Tidbit: If you have a plumbing problem and need to turn the water off to examine a pipe stuff the upper portion with bread. I saw a plumber do this when he came to fix ours once. He said the bread absorbs the water so you don't get dripped on the entire time you're working. Replace when necessary and you don't have to worry about removing it, because it will dissolve.

While we're on the subject of pipes, keep in mind that it's never good to put drain-o down pipes. It can deteriorate metal over time, and those with old homes, it will put a hold in the pipe and then you have a major problem. Snaking is the best method.
