Sweet and Sour Chicken

Tidbit: Do you allow yourself one cheat day during the week, to indulge in whatever you want for dinner? Try choosing your indulgences wisely. Instead of wasting calories on foods that you can have any time of the year, pick items that are truly special and unique to the season. (Easter is coming up, think about foods that are prepared only for this special meal)

Sweet and Sour chicken

3 lbs. chicken thighs
12 oz. apple sauce
1 tsp ground ginger
½ cup lemon juice

Directions: remove skin from chicken. Spray pan with cooking spray. Place chicken in pan. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken. Cook, basting frequently until well glazed. Bake at 350 for 40 min.
