Red Chili

Tidbit: I'm running a contest. The contest will run until the end of the month, and it has a prize at the end. Here are the stakes: In an attempt to make this public I'm looking for people to follow the blog. The idea here is to e-mail your friends, all they have to do is make a comment on the blog with the name of the person who invited them. For instance if I invite a friend, she posts "tidbits" in the comment section. The person who's name appears most often wins a prize. Contest dates: March 21st through March 31st. Winners, and prizes will be revealed April 1st. (And no it's not an April fool's joke). The prize will be mailed out by April 5th (reserved to the continental United States). Happy posting.

Red chili

1 lb. ground hamburger
2 cans Mexican style beans
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 large can tomato sauce
1 large onion diced
1 small green pepper diced
1 heaping TBSP garlic
1 tsp. cumin
½ jar chili powder

Simmer on low for 1-2 hours let stand in refrigerator over night.

Man! I have missed a lot this week! I didn't realize how much. Yeesh...this stuf looks great...what would you serve this with?...rolls?...a salad?....any other suggestions?...thx!

I would serve something hardy like corn bread. Salad is also good.
